I have a 1980 SD33 that came out of a scout. I have the torqueflite trans and transfer case with it. I was thinking of putting it in my 1953 Willys truck. I would rather bolt it up to the manual trans in the truck so I don't have to change the drive shafts and other things, but having a hard time finding a manual flywheel and bellhousing. Does anybody have any advice on this swap?

i think you are getting into the fully custom range to get them to bolt together. you are talking 60 year old American iron transmission with a much newer (relatively) foreign made engine.

i could be wrong though they have bolted many a engine to the stock T-90 3 speed, have you searched Novak or advanced adapters? they are fairly stout transmissions for their day and are known to hold up behind mild small blocks.

i have 48 Willy's pickup and a scout transmission. i can tell you the bell housings for the scout are about twice as long as a regular bell housing.
