well i got the lifter out and it did collapse ...

Just curious, how does the roller look and feel, any up-down play in the needles?

You have plenty of what? Valley pans or the nuts? I will need a new valley pan when I put the turbo on as I am going to replace my lifters, I have one that is not pumping up at times. I have a set of lifters from a 2000 Power Stroke with less that 10,000 miles on them.

Just in case you were wondering, valley pans ARE NOT re-usable. You need a new one. Put the hammer away.

Northern Autoparts Felpro valley pan $55.99 part # MS96038. I have plenty of the nuts because a member posted that Ford only had 100 left and they were going on the obsilete list so I bought "some" because spare parts are always good parts. These roller lifters are in the Chevy 6.2 and 6.5 motors and several other engines.

i had no idea the valley pan was not reusable . put now that i look autozone lists the valley pan as an intake manifold gasket. good thing i posted this

I have a valley pan that has gasket already made on it that I took off a 6.9. Now why can't a valley pan be resused ?????????????????????????????
