All,

My problem is my 1994 F350 CC SRW pulls hard to the right (mostly at freeway speeds) then it's as if something frees up and it starts driving straight again. It only use to do this every once in awhile but now it does it all the time. The truck has 300k mi on it, so the likelihood of something being worn is obvious. I just don't know what. The front tires don't have any uneven wear, but I could use some new shocks. Thanks for any help!

jack up the front end and give everything a good shake to see if theres anything worn. Grab the tires and shake side to side to check steering linkage, then up and down to check ball joints.

Do you have a steering stablizer?
It may be binding.

jack the front end up, lock the hubs, spin the tires.
sounds like a binding u-joint

if those pass inspection, with front end jacked up, start engine.
could also be steering gear.

I think I'd be checking the wheelbearing first. Then brakes, then the rest of the front end.

Check the bearings and brake on the rear of that side too.
