Here are the pics... Project will be very slow for the next 4 months or so. Did discover that either GP or GPC is not working. No clicky or WTS light at all. about 1 hour plugged in and she fired. Not sure who buggered up the trans temp gauge. A welded (or bolted in) bung would have been better. cookoo Mid Atlantic truck floor pans do not look like this after 27 years!. Originally from San Diego I guess. Explains the nice rust patina.LOL

Nice looking rig. Usually that CHP sticker means the driver is a CHP officer. That way any officers walking up on this rig know this is a fellow officer. I have always liked this color combo too.

Joe, check the GPC ground. It was working when it left the Dog Catcher Garage.
Some of the wiring on that left me scratching my head. LOL

Thanks Ron. The WTS worked at Darrin's lot when I left. Fortunately, I made it home with an overnight stop, but honestly cannot recall if it was working then or not. With the wedding this Saturday and "out of towners" arriving already, I am not able to play like I want to! With my old truck I replaced my GPs the first week and never touched the system again. Worked like a charm. Mel just posted a nice trouble shooting piece for the GPC so that is where I will start.

The wiring and alarm system need a going through!
