I bought 2 3/8 weld in bungs to add to my aftermarket reservoir.
im gonna mount it to where I can access it.
I guess as long as they all tie in I should be good.

Height no issue, Maybe USCG approved push loc will satisfy the rules.
The reason the OEM resivoir has 2 returns is that with a TEE if you hammer the hydroboost you can get a return surge that will, for lack of a better term, chatter the steering box valve and you can feel it.

now this is starting to become an annoying issue.
i did not run a Tee.
HB has its own return into the res.
same as the box to the res.

at idle its fine, when above 2000 rpms i can feel the chatter.
could it be just the old steering box? or a valve inside the pump?

the KRC is aupposed to be adjustable, but i havnt fracked with it yet.

thoughts?

now running high steer and 37" tires.
had this issue before that round of upgrades

Pump relief valve maybe. Put a gauge on it and see if it's steady or jumpy

Pump starving for fluid? Drain to the pump not big enough?
