why is it on a normal response under a post is puts a huge gap of empty space on a lot of the posts?

I am not 100% sure, but the way it looks is, if you post a short message, it fills in the space where your stats are, and put the sig in below it..... like this:

However, I believe if you have your sig off, it will not be as large of a gap....

Nope, I was wrong..... it is still there, just the entire post is shorter..... I believe it always did this, just the stats were "shorter"....
look at the left side. the space used is consistent with you avi and info size.

yup not a bug. this is the postbit legacy way of posts. the new way shows that info in the top bar instead and makes post boxes smaller but this is something mike would have to give the green light on to enable.
