the only part ive came across that i couldnt buy new was the 93+ serpentine belt tensioner with the shock.

this was taken out of production pretty recently.

another big one was the factory/093 up pipes, but i started making them for this very reason

nope. and i only have 1 serp system now, but it has the shock and i dont have a new replacement...
should have bought extras back in the day

I just noticed... The in laws truck has a shock on the tensioner, and the tensioner has 2 pulleys on it. Weird.

you sure its not an idler?
a powerstroke has a 2 pulley tensioner, never seen one on a IDI

I put a replacement belt on it when I built it for the in laws. I wonder if someone put a power stroke tensioner on it.

Ive been intimate with the engine for the last few hours, that pulley definitely has 2 rollers on it.

That's what I was thinking, but it's been over 20 years since I've seen a serpentine set up on one of our trucks, so I thought that maybe I was mistaken.
