So I recently purchased a 86 F250 with the 6.9 ext cab 4x4, 5 speed , gear vendor and unknown turbo kit from an auction for $540 +fees. I knew going into this the truck would not start i know it's not spinning fast enough and questionable air in lines but sounds like it has compression. I am not to worried about the start problem right now my biggest concern is there was ALOT of oil setting on the intake valley gasket at first I thought well the turbo drain fitting was bad or came loose causing excess oil to collect. But upon closer inspection the turbo drain has been ran to the oil pan I believe. I am still waiting for some title work to be completed before I take possession of the truck so thought I would start training my brain to think diesel and gasser. Can the IP leak that much oil around the seal or would the IP gear cover be the biggest culprit?
