alright thats perfect. there arnt many 6.9s being scaped out here so a tranny would be hard to find but i have a hook on a 4speed thats in a 86 f350 with a 400

it is most likely a 460 truck, I think they were 351w or 460 by then. The 4 gear behind the 460 that year has a nice and low 1st gear.

thanks man. i cant beleve you sold your truck for 3000 that thing is the inspiration for my 84. i wanted your truck so bad as soon as i saw the forsale sigh i even stoped and looked at it. thankfully the fire isnt heading tourds town but hidden valley is getting close. i hope you stay out of the path once you far enough away.
