When at night & some stupid little car or regular truck crept up behind me hiding out, letting me drag them down the road & them getting better gas milage sucking along in my big backdraft, or letting me run along lots faster than speed limit & them hiding out from Smoky Bear close behind me,......mostly just crowding me,.......after I'd slow down a bit & that not work, change lanes & that not work,...throw BB's out window to chip their windshield & lites & that not work, ......THEN I'd flip landing lites on & fill the road behind me with LOTS of bright lite!!~!
Cars backed off, other cars started running all over the road dodging each other.......
In the early 90's, I was working for a big cattle rancher. He had me drive his '85 F250 with a 6.9 to town one night. Well, dumb 20 year old me, didn't like to stay home so I took a friend along and went to a bigger town. On the way back, going down a back road, there was a car that REALLY liked the smell of the exhaust or something like that. It stayed there for several miles. I finally got tired of that so I grabbed to handle of the pillar mounted spot light and turned it around backward and had it aimed at that car as best I could. When I hit the switch to turn the light on, that car backed off so quick that I thought the engine had fallen out onto the road! Was it stupid? Yes, but it worked.

Thanks for the heads up on this Nero. I have a pair of these from Baja Retrofits sitting in the shop ready to install. I will make sure to give them the once over before I put them in.

Maybe he thought you were some 'ol COP with that pillar mounted spot lite & maybe thought your next light you were going to flip on would be RED!!! LOL LOL

One night I was out around Odessa, Tx middle of night & kind'a in a bad mood, Cops everywhere watching the 55 speed limit. Us truckers usually kept everyone updated where they were. I'm running along bout 65-70 or more, with a FuzBuster & my CB.

Some idiot crept up behind me & got nearly out of sight nearly under trailer. I'm in inside lane. I slowed down thinking maybe it's a Bear (Cop) running up behind me with radar off. That didn't help, so finally I changed lanes. He stayed up behind me.
Changed lanes 3-4-5 times. This went on for several miles. I finally flashed my landing lights, no help! So I turned them on all time! No help.
Sooooooo....I got in inside lane, started acting like I was sleepy & wiggling & wobbling round in the hwy.
Finally started wobbling round & drifting over into inside median off & on.....stirring up dust etc behind me. That didn't help!! Sooooo I started getting really sleepy, got over in grass & gravel & dirt about 1/2 of me. (left side in median, rt side still rolling on hwy.)
Took about 1/2 mile for him to pull over his car & stop.......I suspect I got his windshield or paint-job or both!!!!!

The sheriff of the town my house in, had a white ram rebel but but the vinyl changed to say "sheriff". I might had made the bear feel that his truck was slow, and now has a blacked out one with a hellcat engine. So to me, its not far fetched seeing them in trucks.

gottem here too

See started a roll cal and good to know. It would make sense for them to have one, since bound to be dealing with gravel or dirt roads filled with a lot turtles that would be in a questionable state when wet. Say there might come a time to ford a river.

Nice. We have giant puddles like that on our dirt roads. It gets fun just to drive home.
