Sun Prairie is a nice area, and yes: Spotted Cow is a great local beer up there. It always seemed strange to me that all the PNW beers are everywhere now, but I've never seen anything from New Glarus outside of the MN/Wisconsin area.

Most of the "micro" breweries from the PNW are bought up by Anhuiser Busch. I love Alaskan Brewing, especially after doing work up there and meeti g everyo e, but they only sell in so many states and have been slowly expanding east.

Different visions or sales plans, who knows. Course, the box does say "Only in Wisconsin." Could be a pride thing or a want to keep the business small.

Drank more of that than I care to admit when I lived in Milwaukee. Lakeside Brewing has some good ones also.

Ran out of fuel just after Chicago thanks to traffic. Filled her up with the jerry can and got going, bled the lines in a parking lot and we are on the road again.

Chicago should be about the worst for traffic that you'll encounter, depending on what time you go through Cleveland.

A few things, watch out for 90degree turn in Cleveland. Fuel is usually cheaper in Ohio that Pennsylvania. Try to hit Cleveland at non peek hours. You might want to try the I86/390 route rather than buffalo and the throughway, if so get fuel at the res in Salamanca.

I travel to Ohio, Indiana, and Iowa for work quite a lot so I don't get excited anymore. The smell of the fertilizer and pesticides never gets better though.
