So I Just finished up the mechanical parts of swapping the e4od for a zf5 on my 1991 f250, 7.3 idi. Problem is, now Ive got no crank by the key. It does crank when crossing the starter solenoid. I think my problem is the neutral safety switch.

First I tried putting the MLPS sensor in neutral, but could not get it to crank. I tried what Im pretty sure is neutral based on a line in the body of the MLPS, as well as every other position to be safe. No crank in any position.

Based on other forum posts, I then tried bridging the red with white stripe and white with pink stripe wires on the harness side of the MLPS connector, but still had no crank. I have not plugged in a clutch safety, and still have the plug from the automatic in so I don't think that should be a problem?

I don't know too much about electrical stuff, and this is my first IDI/Ford truck so Im probably missing or doing something dumb. Maybe those are the right wires to jump and something else could be stopping the key from cranking? Hoping someone who's done this might know what Im missing.

This is also my first post here, so let me know If Im posting this in the wrong place or anything.
