Manual vs. Auto for performance?

Hey 58_Dodge, I was just reading your sig.
What exhaust housing do you run?
Just wondering how do you keep your
boost down at 40 psi?

My turbo is completely stock, with the exception of a boost elbow. I haven't done anything to the motor sence I bought the truck a couple months ago, but it only gets to 40 when I'm in 5th wide open going up a hill and its about 15 degrees outside. But hey, 40 pounds is 40 pounds right?

I can get about 37 out of it, wide open, in 5th, around 40 degrees outside temp
