Don't have one! Don't need one. No A/C and I run hydroboost.

So I now have an RDT running up and over the ac compressor and down on the outside of the frame right beside the steering box. Does it need to be a certain distance under the truck>?

For your test the RDT just needs to vent to atmosphere. The point of putting it under the truck is to try to use veturi to help pull gases out, it isnt neccessary for it to just vent though. Did you look in your hose to make sure it wasn't clogged with something. No way 1" tube is not letting gases vent...
