I've been lurking for a bit...and saturday finnaly picked up my first oilburner...

I've been looking for something to replace my rusting out 91 f350 4x4 crewcab..and a van just seemed to be the next step in comfort...(camp in it and cruise in it...)

1985 6.9 C6 clubwagon 134K

I figure its probably due for an injector pump (little bit of smoke while in the throttle)...

plans are
4x4 D60 conversion
5spd ZF manual tranny.
keeping it mild lift (for towing)
winch (already purchased 9K superwinch)
bumpers
captains chairs for middle row..fold down bed for back
DVD with wireless headphones for the kid
paint and some good aluminum rims..

possible turbo (gotta see how it does stock first)

its a dual tanker..so im plannin on doing some sort of alternative fuel..either veggy or go bio (dunno yet...still looking into costs..)

EDIT...forgot..the newer one is ideas for bumpers and such...

There is a member on this board who can make a real bumper custom, (93turboanimal) Aric. Many of us are still saving to have one some day soon, You can check He's pics.

thanks...not everybody appreciates the things that I do...

and some of the other things I've either built or designed...(or given the builder ideas on what I want and let them freelance the finished product..)

the bumpers on the green truck were one of my first projects...

the sploder cage/bumper was build by a buddy at www.bbpfab.com with several images of other ideas and conversations about what I wanted...finnished product was WAY more than I expected...I did the 1ton axleswap this winter...its a nice fun truck!!
