As I found out this weekend, it is about as large as they could make it. It is a tight fit to clear the firewall in the back. Make sure there is a rubber grommet in the opening for the bolt that holds it on. Otherwise, water could get in there and make for some trouble. Making sure the rubber cowl seal at the top of the firewall/hood junction isn't cracked. A heavy rain will let water into the engine compartment and into that big recess in the air filter box.;Sweet

Banks had two options for these IDI's. The "Power Pack" and their "Sidewinder Turbo". They don't sell the power pack anymore as far as I know. I have the power pack on the crew cab F350. It came with a complete exhaust system and this larger, better flowing lid for the air box along with a larger K&N style paper filter. They also gave you a pyrometer and instructions on how to turn up the fuel a bit on the IP.
