So after a lot of searching through old threads and not really finding the info I was looking for I figured I would come here for some advice.
My truck is coating the top of my engine from the hot side of my inter cooler piping and I figure it’s from the CDR. Very oily around the boot from the turbo, and seems to be hazing the top of my engine.
I know with a regular factory turbo the oil vapours from the cdr would be burned up however it seems to be condensing after the turbo in the intercooler. Does this leave potential for my piping to fill with oil eventually?
I have found a few examples online for creating a road draft tube but I can’t find an example of one from a factory turbo engine. Does anyone have a guide or parts list I can use to buy one? Is it possible to simply pull the guts out of my CDR and run the tube off it to the bottom of the truck? Seems that would be easiest?
Thanks in advance.
