thanks jasper! ill keep looking do u know the cfm we need, I think I read one back in 2005 that said we need 1000 cfm.

not sure how big the one I use to run. it was from ats looks like around the same size.. worked good till I got some upgrades..

One from a powerstroke will work great. Even the plastic 6.0 ones seem pretty good.
You may think oh its plastic, but look at the boost they make. Lol

I think Mel told me 750-800 cfm but that was a while ago.

I agree with Jasper, 2.25 piping is probably just a touch small so I'd bet the IC is a little on the small side too.

what other parts will i need for this? I think i read type4 has some adapter that is very helpful with intercooler setup

i took my hat and welded an aluminum sleeve to it, to accept a 2" to 2.25" boot.
had to trim some of it off to click it the way i wanted, but it worked well.
i would steer clear of using boots for bends.
i fabed up some 2.25" stainless piping to my FMIC

2.25 inch piping has proven to work well for me. Remember, most all of our turbos ahave a 2.25 inch fitting on the output.
