I am trying to be polite and not drop names but he is definitely more than welcome to share his side of the story if he wants to. I have screen shots and records of literally everything. I also have cameras at my house and one of them has been aimed at this engine the entire time it has been here. Every second from pulling up in the rental truck and unloading it , to now , has been recorded. I am trying to give him the benefit of doubt and not put him on blast since he admitted that it was misrepresented and agreed to give me a 50% refund on the 10th. He was in the middle of a power stroke swap so I'm not sure that cash was the issue , but who knows. It's not my place to judge . I am just sharing updates of my build with you guys and unfortunately this situation has been a big part of it.

I truly appreciate all of the offers to help. It really means a lot! I will get it sorted out and back on the road one way or another , but thank you all so much!

I pulled a main cap today to check out the bearings...

Looks suspiciously original. On the brighter side, the bearing doesn't look too bad considering its age.

Ya , unfortunately not even the bearings are new. It's pretty disappointing . So at this point it is pretty clear that there is nothing "rebuilt" or "new" about this engine , aside from some gaskets and paint.:wtf:

I finally have an engine! I sold it to a local guy about a year ago. He stored it as a spare. I had a turbo kit he wanted so he traded me the engine back for it! Funny how things turn out. I don't know his name on here but thanks again Derek!

I test fired it the other day. I only plugged in the bare minimum to hear it run. Zero exhaust , didn't bleed fuel lines , no turbo , original return lines which leaked almost everywhere.. She started up without much effort ! Unfortunately the radiator shop said my rad is shot and can't be repaired ,so I'll have to get a new one. I'll probably just get an AutoZone one because of the lifetime warranty.. And price lol. The turbo should be here Monday! Finally getting this thing buttoned up!

I'm glad to see that you haven't given up on it yet. I know that it was probably tempting a time or two.
