Hi guys, I have a 93 f350 that I swapped from duly to singles, and I wasn't o replace the 7.3 idi with a 7.3 power stroke. I know that I will need a new harness, but do I need to change anything with the frame? Thanks

Pretty sure you will need at least all the wiring for the engine, the dash and the instrument cluster itself.

I think you need the gas pedal too. Seems like the strokes are drive by wire....

I did my CC
Need all under hood wiring and IDM , dash wiring,PCM and bracket throttle pedal.
When I did mine I put the power stroke and Radiator brackets in, overflow and washer bottle
I used a 96 wiring in my 93.
Had to change a few pins in the connector for the back lights.

Electrical side is pretty easy.
And there's always somebody that has to get butthurt about the idi.

pretty is?

No need to get butthurt Jasper, some guys just can't read the writing on the wall. If they want to butcher their trucks let them, we'll still know better. ;Sweet

I wouldn't either, there's no point whatsoever in down-grading.

If I ever get mine to the point where the body work is done, the next step is to get rid of the idi, worst thing about the pickup is under the hood. Which really sucks cause I like the 80-86 body style.

Hmmm.
Fixed.
Personally, I love my powerstroke over the idi's.
Cheaper to make high levels of power with.
Easier to diagnose. Just hook the Ole AE, and wham bam thank you ma'am, here's your problem.
Not saying I wouldn't own another idi, but I'm happier with the psd.
Yeah injectors are way more, but they last a lot longer.
