what is the difference between the 15# and the 17#? and what is the deal with two pumps?

17 degree means the swash plate goes 2 degrees farther to let in that much more oil before it pushes it out. Ford went to the bigger one because the superdutys have bigger injectors that need more oil flow. I think thats what you were asking anyhow

If I'm not mistaken, the 17deg HPOP has "humps" or dimples on the back....

Oh i don't know..... If i could buy a used 15* for $75 would that be a deal?
