95 7.3 hpop

looking for idea. Installed a reman HPOP on truck filled reservoir with oil started truck runs good valley filling with oil found it to be coming from back plate behind snap ring very clear to see. Removed HPOP returned to parts house for warranty install new one same dang thing. my thought is bad remans waiting on another HPOP now but thought i would see if there is something i am not thinking of any help would be great

what was wrong with the old HPOP that warranted replacement. HPOPs rarely if ever fail.

no pressure they rarely fail but it does happen

Mine became reluctant to build pressure for starting. Another used one fixed me up fine.

Did you replace the IPR at the same time? Its been 10 years since I had my f350... memory is fuzzy... is that maybe part of whats leaking?
