How big is your camper? Does it have a very big drop at the back?
This is the only pic I have with the camper in bed, it has a pretty significant drop, a hitch extension to go past the camper bumper would need to be at least 4ft long.

I do apprentice all the input everyone. Ultimately sounds like unless I use one tank, high pressure pump is out of the question for me. Guess I need to revisit maybe a low pressure pump if my mech isn't up to the task.

I wonder if you could rig a front bumper mount, like hacked89 has. Dad had that front mount on a '78, and it worked OK. It was a piece of angle behind the bumper running between frame rails, and an L-shaped arm running from that under the bumper then up, and clamped to the bumper. At it's top it had a place to bolt the spare, of course.

Thanks that’s not my truck but what I’ve done on vehicles is take a weld in receiver tube, cut to length and then you can weld it how you like through the bumper. You can back it with another square tube going across frame to frame depending on what you want to use it for. Then you could just use a receiver type spare tire rack on long trips or otherwise remove it if you like.

I would mount it on the front like @hacked89 showed, or maybe on top of the camper. though it will be a pain to get up and down, its not like you need it very often.
I dont carry a spare with me. I need the bedspace for work and with the big tank I cant put it underneath. I daily drive it, sometimes over a 100 miles a day, but I dont take it on long road trips usually. So far so good knock on wood.

I just recently went to a lift pump for a 24v cummins, yeah yeah I know, get over the brand bs lol, but it seems to be doing a lot better than the cheapo parts store electric pump, supposed to flow 71 gallons per hour at a max of 10 psi, no long term opinion yet, but on a recent 750 mile trip, it was good other than reminding me that I still need to either swap my tanks or clean them out lol

Back to carrying a spare, an idea I'm going to explore eventually is to cut a big, round hole in the outer bedside in front of the rear wheel, and rig some framework there to hold a spare partly recessed into the bedside.

I'm an idiot, I read it as a 24 volt pump, not 24 valve and had to do a critical rethink.
For the 24v it is a constant run pump for the vp44 systems, i wonder how itll perform long term and under varying power mods.

I’m using the Fass Titanium kit for a 6.5 diesel. More than enough fuel and already regulated down. Very easy install as wrll

I have a Walbro FRB-13 on my 91. It doesn’t quite flow enough with a maxxed out pump that was a Moose 90 CC. I was able to turn it up two and a half flats more.

Running a Hypermax turbo, intercooler, and exhaust. ZF5.

My 94 will be getting an electric pump from a 99-03 7.3 Powerstroke, and a return style regulator. I may wind up ditching the factory tanks, and mounting a large one to the frame on one side. Still haven’t decided yet.

Will be running an ATS 093 kit, with an R&D drop in turbo, and also the R&D 3” V band downpipe. IDIoit V band uppipe. Still haven’t decided yet which route I’ll go for the rest of the exhaust and intercooler, but probably Hypermax. Getting head studs for sure, maybe a cam. Where could I get the logger cam now that Russ is gone? This truck has an E4OD with many upgrades.

Pretty sure it was oregon camshaft who originally came up with that cam grind. Heard of it before the forum days. Seems like they called it the logger cam.....idi powered crummys were everywhere back then.
