rebel w/o a cause
So i finally got around to trying to get the h1c turbo that i picked up a while ago apart for a rebuild. Upon comparison to the rajay turbo that was on the truck i would have to make some major modifications to the manifold and other stuff to have the h1c fit because it would hit the brake and clutch master cylinders. But either way my dad and bro have dodges so it would be useful to them if i dont figure out a way to fit it in there. so i start to disasemble and the cold side housing is being a pain in the ****.
I know that the one on my bros dodge was no trouble at all. so i get out the rubber mallet and start giving it a few whacks 
and all of a sudden about a 3 in section the sealing flange lip that presses up against the body of the turbo chips off the housing. Im thinking wth but upon further inspection somehow the turbo got so hot that parts of the lip are almost melted.
Needless to say that turbo is not going on any truck now.
Ok end of rant, really sorry but now for the question. Do you think there is anything on the turbo worth saving if it got that hot? If there is and anyone would like the damn thing then you can have it if not then im just going to throw it away. I also now have a complete h1c rebuild kit that i do not need if anyone has a use for it ill take 35 plus shipping for it.
