We have a bunch of "street rodders" around here who modify their pickups in a way that should be illegal. They either raise the front of the vehicle or lower the rear of the vehicle . At night they can shine their headlights on the planet Mars; thereby blinding anybody in front of them. Its even worse as they approach you head on. They think its a real laugh when they drive up behind you and stay there. Im think of using LED lights pointing backwards when they get too close. Illegal I know but I dont want to have an accident because of the glare in my outside mirrors. I wish there was a way to inject used motor oil into the exhaust... talk about rolling coal! Unfortunately there is nothing in the Texas traffic code that can done about it. When we used to have our vehicles inspected long ago, the headlamps were checked. If they werent within spec, you did not receive your safety sticker. thats one program that needs to be revived. Sorry about the rant, but it gets old real quick, especially when your hauling kids around.
