Grinding in reverse when letting clutch out - zf5

this is where I’m starting to think, the trans also slaps a bit when you let out the clutch sometimes. Started making a kind of bell noise when I accelerate at low speed. Anyone tried a rock auto rebuild trans?

Have you checked your u joints? A bad u joint can make noise and slapping sounds if bad enough when sending power through the driveline

Im pretty sure this ended up being my crank / main bearings because they just blew out and locked up the motor. Will update after engine replacement.
