Alright, I'm back to square one. Even with the electric fuel pump once the engine gets warm it refuses to start. When it finaly does start the check engine light flickers, and the glow plug relay clicks on and off for about an hour, which heats up my wires, but not enough to melt them.

*** is the deal?

well first off, disconnect that glow plug controller and hot wire a manual toggle switch to run the glow plugs, ASAP or you risk and engine fire.
Second, this sounds like you have a bad IP, its getting heat soak. To check for this, carry a 12 ounce bottle of water with you and the next time it doesnt start pour the water over the head of the IP. If it starts you've got a bad pump.

Sounds like you have electrical issues (since the GP's are staying running). You may want to make sure that the FSS is getting good power and working properly. Electrical problems that come and go with temperature are not at all uncommon.

Having voltage regulator checked tommorrow. But today the glowplug light never shut off. I turned the key, and messed with the fried soliniod to start it, the whole time the light was on. went out only after it ran a few minutes.

Have a new soliniod on the way, and new battery cables, the current ones melted at the starter.

Still doesnt explain the issues in the engine wires.
