In the automotive side of things, alot of times ordering oe parts, for older stuff anyway, results in paying oe prices for aftermarket stuff in an oe box.

You should at least temporarily add a fuel pressure gauge so you know what pressure you're actually running. I had a brief online exchange with Justin from R&D IDI about fuel pressure at the IP inlet and too much is too much. He related an instance where he was on the dyno and backed the pressure down from 9psi to 6 or 7psi and gained some HP. Too much pressure can also affect the timing advance.

So far so good. replaced the Lift Pump with one from O`Really`s/
Been using it at least 5 yrs or so...and this truck is our daily driver. So far no problem with it...yet.
I did some Google searching on the internet with the Ford Part# to see what came up. NLA from Ford, but found NOS Carter Pumps, that came in the green box, made in Canada, and maybe one U.S.A... the Carters now come in the Blue box and crap shoot where they are made, and not U.S.A..

Guy had 4 and bought them all, think they were $34 ea.
