So I was cleaning the terminals on my glow plug controller today and it broke apart. So I guess it is time for a new one. Anyone find one of these things for a good deal somewhere or is there a better one I can install?

Controler or relay...two different parts of same system

Go manual and never worry about it again!

I bet the actual relay in the controller is still good and can be re-used.

The controller behind the intake needs replacing. Is there a substitute if I go manual? I mean I was going to anyway.

For the Powerstrokes.
But I believe we may have a member or two running them also.

It is not a controller. It's just a relay for manual operation. It'll outlast the truck.
If you search around they can be had a lot cheaper.

Yup. I did 12 volt with manual push button years ago, 15+, and have replaced glow plugs twice since.

Use a ford starter relay and a momentary push button with 12 volt glow plugs. Just like an old CAT. 10-15 seconds on a summer morning, 45 when it is freezing.

Part numbers anyone!?! I just want to hear about something specific that worked. I like to be sure of something before I order it. I'm still learning quite a bit about motor and accessory functions.
