Traced my fuel starvation problem to the fuel selector valve. Bypassed my fuel lines and noticed the fuel gauge was well past full. So I plugged in the wiring harness back into the switch, but there's no change. Sending unit wiring harness goes into the big one which makes it difficult to trace.

Does the switch have anything to do with the fuel gauge? I am not seeing much voltage (mv) to the sending unit. Fuse is good.

Yes, I recall someone posting the tank switching valve also controls the tank lever indiactors. I suspose it would have to because of the changing from tank to tank.

Yep, iirc, it's the valve that controls the level senders.
In the many manual ball ball threads, someone posted a diagram on how to get the gauge to work.

I have pretty much the same problem. I haven't tackled it yet, but I know the time will come. For the moment I just watch the trip odometer carefully.

I have a couple or three pages somebody scanned. They may help. If you are able to fix this gauge problem, I'd like to know EXACTLY what you did. Deal?
