And yes the yellow ptfe tape is petroleum rated. The white is NOT.

Modify the rollover valve by cutting the top off @ the nipple port.
TAP ALL THE WAY DOWN, for the front tank.
Sink it an inch deeper for the rear tank as its right under the bed floor.
Check fit as you go so it's still snug.

If you remove the dr side bed bolts, then loosen the passenger side all the way you can floor jack the bed up and shim it in place so yer not relying on the hydraulic jack to save yer butt.

Following the advice of the other threads about this above, I ordered the floats.
Cuz everything was as instructed above.
Fwiw
I installed a set of fuel filters tween the tanks and fsv as a failsafe for the fsv.
This setup is not great for the rear tank as its a p i t a to access this way.
I'm gunna drop the rear instead of fighting all the sheilding on the front one.
Hope this saves some future idi'r some grief, having all the links in 1 thread.

May as well do a 3" body lift so you can clear 33's. Your half way there.

Let's make that unicorn a stallion!

It's acceptable. Those little trucks sure got a "cult following", I'd like a AMC CJ one day, but probably not today.

1946 CJ-2A. I got one when I was in college and towed it back to Nor Cal. I spent over $50,000 "rebuilding" it several times. Lotsa fun and money. I learned a lot about 4 wheeling and trucks.

I had one for a time too. I had it for about 3 years and had done nothing to it at all so I decided to get rid of it.
