Hey ya'll, I drove my truck for the last time as a auto and put her up on jack stands. I started 8:30 am and got it out by 3:15, it was easier than I thought. I have alot of pics, some questions. For anyone left with a E4OD
, I have parts, the transmission(with 15K on ford reman.), cable shifter assembly, torque converter, 4x4 shifter, metal cooler lines, dip stick and dipstick tubes(turbo and non-turbo tubes). PM me if interested.
Just for the record, the 88-91 MC has a closer stud pattern then the 92-97. I got the 91 MC cause it was cheaper but I will end up having to ream out the holes.:-X06
Questions:
First, what do I do with this hose underneath the dash, it was mounted on the old pedal assembly and there is nowhere to mount it on the new one. Do I need it? I have no idea what it could possible do?
Second, what do I do with the 3 plugs that hooked up to the transmission?? What do my reverse lights plug in to? And where will the 4x4 light plug in?
Rest of pics......
