I did ford grey for the block.
Sparkly blue powder coat for the fan, valve covers, charge air piping and cold air intake
Sparkly black for everything else
All belt accessories and brackets, intake manifold, coolant inlet and outlet, alternator, IP housing etc.

I have since switch to serpentine belt and everything on that has been powder coated sparkly black as well, I just don't have pics
And obviously I have my upgraded 9 blade cooling fan on now instead

I honestly like the aquamarine color of the DT466 engines. I am leaning towards painting my engine that color, instead of white with chrome valve covers.

I don't know what color the DT466s were. The IDIs were in the S1600 series. Maybe the S1700 too?

My case knife is blue and......it says FORD.

Just got the block primed after getting cam bearing put in since I’m to lazy, as well as the heads being rebuilt and a couple broken injectors taken out. Heads are finished, I will be cerakoting the rest of dam near everything

Oliver Grey. Figured it was close of enough to IH Grey, that no one would complain. First coat went on and looked to be closer to Cummins Tan when wet, but it dried to a nice grey.
