the taurus is my grandmothers. she lives in FL and drives it when she comes up here. sitting my my driveway right now is

Nice truck. Are you running stock spring configueration(length, shackle position)? I probably missed it but what are your ride impressions. I feel like articulation isn't real hard to make happen but trying to get these trucks to handle rough road driving without being physically painfull is another story. Im about to rsk mine and want to know your (or anyone elses that has experience) opinion on off road suspension on these things. Thanks

i am running bronco rear springs with a sky shackle flip and the factory blocks removed. this equals out to NO lift. in the front i run stock f350 gasser springs, but will be changing them soon. the ride is harsh at speeds, but i am rarely over 10 mph.

Wow, the rear isn't lifted. Thats incredible. Did you do the shackle flip for the purpose of getting rid of the blocks to help with axle wrap or is there other benifits like ride or articulation? I guess if it usually isn't breaking 10 it really is a dedicated crawler.

once i get my doubler in, my final crawl ratio will be 120ish to 1. with the motor at idle, in first gear, low low, in one minute i will have moved 55 feet.

Have you figured out if yer going to go with full hydro steering or just assisted yet?

When the money comes in I will be putting on hydro assist. Redneck ram with all the parts and lines is 500 with a reman steering box tapped for the lines.
