Yeah, this guy is nuts on his prices, but some ******* will offer him 1500 less and he will sell it. Little to be known that the dealer jacked up the price by 5 grand.

for East Coasters looking for rust-free diesels from the 90s, this place has some very nice offerings. they were offering a 2WD 2nd-gen Dodge CUmmins dually - were asking only $7K for it which is a great price for a serious tow rig that will never see snow

this truck is way too expensive, but there are many problems with shopping yourself for a western truck that's 1,500 - 3,000 miles away from you. if you don't have the time to drive the truck back home you're looking at $3,000 to have it shipped. I have read a bunch of stories about vehicles that have been seriously damaged by careless loading & unloading, and that would be a huge bummer.

this place in VA has its own tractor-trailer - they drive out West and return with 3 diesel pickups. it looks like they detail each truck, buy new tires and service it thoroughly prior to listing it. obviously they're charging for all that, but it may be worth it for someone like me who's actually looking for a bone-stock truck that belonged to a grandpa. the drive from VA home is less than 8 hours.

158K on the odometer of a manual tranny 1st-gen or OBS PSD don't affront me one bit, as long as there's no rust

yes, it does take some of the guesswork out of purchasing a vehicles from the west...i have done just that and drove it home, but i lucked out and bought from a really good, honest person. i hope next time i get that lucky.

think what 15k would get you as far as a new truck/vehicle goes and it adds perspective. still, i would look harder if it was 11-12k...after owning a few TTB trucks i personally wouldn't pay top dollar for one with that many miles. that's more an issue of personal preference though, as i prefer the '99+ trucks.

i agree with you on the rust-free factor though...that is far and away the #1 criteria for my next truck.

They are calling the wrong 7.3 "bullet proof" LOL
hear ya, but I've been looking at this site for the past few months and I've never seen them offer a Navistar-powered Ford or an 80s vintage Dodge diesel. prolly can't make a big enough profit on a truck < $10K

most of the trucks they offer are 1995 - 2005
