Carbon build up

Waz up guys have a 93 f250 7.3 idi about to change exhaust manifolds and seen inside the ports and some have some carbon build up on valves how do i clean them without damaging anything?

You can run seafoam before taking all of it apart it useful for that

I've always heard that is not recommended to run seafoam through our IDI's. I've run Lucas through mine though.

This forum recommends NEVER pour anything down the intakes but... Running a fuel additive is not hurting anything.
