Wait wait wait wait, I’m no electrician, but if my headlight switch is old and crusty (floor) but my light switch is new would that be a problem?

I don't "think" so. Pretty sure the floor switch just controls if power goes to the high beams or low beams. I don't believe it serves any other function.

I agree. I don't think it has anything to do with the dome light or cargo light considering that you can still turn on the dome light with the headlight switch in the "off" position.

What I have left over is a dash panel in good shape (gasser so its a storage spot where the WTS light would be), dashboard with tachometer and trip reset at 83k (XLT), steering column cover, fuse panel, and both mirrors with brackets (just need TLC).

If anyone needs anything I am flexible and have a UPS down the road which makes shipping easy.
