So here is my build thread. Not really restoring since she is pretty cherry but just adding stuff here and there and would like to share pictures in the process.

When I got her in fall of 2012 with about 60K original miles.

Immediately started putting her to work.

Removed front grill guard for paint and also put back on the original "dog dish" style hubcaps since it seems more nostalgic.

Wow lookin good, thanks for the update and the pictures.

That grill guard turned out just fine IMHO It looks much better black than what was white.

Good luck with the build

Diesel Crawler do you have a picture of the front hubcaps? I looked up in the attic for them and my dad says he recalls these being the ones that came on the truck when he bought it new. Are these even the right style or do I have the completely wrong ones? Thanks for the help.

Sweet ride! I thought the brush gaurd was aluminum by the color. The black looks great. Or get it chromed.

I have a soft spot in my heart for white single cab trucks.

Dog dishes look good. I recommend a set of Alcoa's. helps with fuel, tiny bit of acceleration and they look great.

C6, e4od? Zf5? 3.55? 4.10?

Ad a rear sway bar if it doesn't have it. Helps with towing and handling.

No link for rear sway bars... They're OEM. Go junk yard cruising. Some brackets are setup for 4wd trucks so try and find a 2wd. Sweet zf5!!!

Really a nice truck look before you started fixing it. Now an even nicer looking truck after updates... Funny how it continues to look better with your work..
