My 1989 ambulance 7.3 idi was in for inspection at the service station. The guy said he pulled it out of the service bay and it died. I came to look at it..I found the plug on top of the alternator had cracked and shorted out. I spliced the two bottom hot wires back together and got the rest of the plug bac together to get power back to the relay and still nothing. So I replaced that relay.. still no "wait to start" light or fuel pump! What burned up?
