I just added a new truck to my collection. A 88 f250 with a wastegated banks kit on it. My 93 f350 is my pride and joy project truck that I put a factory turbo kit and a 90cc pump. Something in the valve train is messed up so originally bought the 88 for the engine but going to end up letting the ole lady drive it. I know banks have the t3 flange and very easy to put different turbos on. I was thinking of using the banks up pipes in the 93 when I get it fixed and going with a s257. Anyone else go with another turbo and want to share the experience with it

S360 with a .63 exhaust housing is nice. It'll make 25 PSI without issue. Just make sure you've got studs. Also, remember that nothing else will bolt up - you'll need a new downpipe or adapter, new piping to intake, and an adapter for air cleaner/CDR elbow(ebay coupler).

I would do a s257sx-e with a .82 A/R thats what my 6.5 is getting. .63 is too restrictive on the top end. .91 works with lots of fuel but will not spool up as fast.

Well restrictive and laggy are relative answers, all depends on your power level. Without studs you really cant fully use any larger than stock aftermarket turbo, and if you are studding I would match it to your fueling. 90cc-110cc is a good range for upgraded stock turbos and s200 frame turbos. 130-150cc you start looking at 63+ mm s300 frames, and above that its t4 turbo kits and db4s.
