Ok guys heres a good one. My '89 decided to quit on me, down the road. tried to switch tanks ( Fuel gauge doesnt work ). Nada!!! So i poured most of 5 gallons in the front tank and over flowed it . Imagine my surprise, because I had not her switched to the front. I poured the rest of the diesel in the rear tank. Well . I get it rolling again and later it happens again. I get home and my buddy Boudreaux says here : Ive got a extra tank selector switch.. Installed it and I listened for the tank selector valve to click, switch, make noise... what ever. It appears Im pulling out of the rear tank and the return lines are dumping in the front tank.........Am I crazy or is this something I need to worry about??? Is my next move a tank selector valve/ If so, do I need to drain both tanks?
Will my grandchildren be born naked?
Will I get new shotgun for my birthday or will I still have hunt dinosaurs with a slingshot?

It's a possibility that the fsv is stuck part way between the two tanks.
Check oldbulls fsv tech 101 thread, might be a mention of that.

SENOR!!! The OEM fuel selector sucks.......air that is!!! Good luck on your endeavor! But yeah, really sounds like a stuck fuel selector. You might consider doing the single bronco tank or even look for @IDIBRONCO s, thread about how he uses a bronco tank as a transfer tank.

And I'm totally jealous that you have a slingshot for hunting dinosaurs! We still jump outta trees and try to hit them with sticks around here.....but then we get away on our 3 wheelers....

Have you had the valve out in the past? Is it possible that the return line got switched when reconnecting? I have not messed with one on the truck yet but I work with a lot of valve set ups at work and error in destination can happen
