94 7.3L IDI white smoke & stumble

I have a 94 7.3L IDI factory turbo with an auto, and it does not want to go above 1800 rpms. It stumbles real bad and huffs out white smoke when you accelerate. I just replaced the glow plugs and it is still doing it.

Have you checked the fuel flow and pressure? That is what my truck did when the el cheapo electric pump died, seemed like the IP could suck enough fuel for low RPM's, but not the higher revs. Then again, when my 87 did that, it just died driving through the farm! Funny thing was, it was the same injection pump!!! I took the one off my 85, which I only drove accross the yard a time or two, and put it on my 87.

At any rate, I would check fuel, may just need filters changed, screen cleaned etc.
