6.0 possible injector issues

Plug came out we couldn’t get it to snap in so we zip tied it in.now the damn heater hose that runs behind the ficm is leaking.i can’t catch a break lol

For that y under the degas bottle, you can get a replacement that is metal.

Looks like the hose right at the back of the head you can see where the ficm has rubbed on it but it was hard to tell if it ain’t the hose then I’m screwed lol

I know I sound like a very broken record when I say this....

You know it’s coming......

We know you have a tablet and a dongle.

Get us some readings. Doesn’t take long and may save a boat load of looking around and wiggling wires. May not.

But the best part is that you can do it no matter how hot the engine is. ;)

Hope you’ve got it sorted and this post doesn’t matter.

I didn’t have my tablet anywhere near me when it started.but yes we believe to have it sorted out if I can just figure out the coolant leak I’ll be golden.it was pourin last night now it won’t leak a drop. But to sum everything up it was the wiring harness that cause the issue in the first place.dumb me I shoulda started there anyways because it’s a older truck and it was only 50 bucks but anyways it’s fixed now.

I give up it’s broke agian[emoji23] I gotta pressure test it tomorrow and see what’s goin on.she started and loped then died.did that a few times then it wouldn’t build hpo.let it sit a bit tryed it agian an itd start an die then nothin. Imma pressure test it as soon as I can.i have a feeling the stc blew out or we’ve got another leak on the passenger side or the hpop went out.im so tired of this dang truck I drove it 2 days this time

I still suspect (gut feel since a lot was done before doing the first air test) a bad HPOP (or injector leaks). The air test is critical. I am sure you know this, but it is always better to air test w/ hot oil ... if possible. Also be sure to give it time to push the oil out before listening for the air leaks. HPOP leaks will show up w/ gurgling sounds at the oil filter canister.

I heard mine leak through the turbo drain.
But at this point I already had the turbo, intake, and valve covers removed.

Well I don’t believe I’ll be testin it with hot oil the truck won’t run lol.imma try an test it ASAP but I’ve got a lot goin on like every one else does the next 2 days
