I'd be happy to toss a face cord in my truck and split the cost if we find someone down there selling it. Around here pricing varies from $50-80/face cord so I'd imagine prices would be similar down there. Worst case scenario if we can't burn it all I'll toss it in my garage for next winter.

Those places that sell individual bundles of firewood are crazy expensive...

EDIT: I'll look into that actually. I'm sure I can find someone there online. I'll let y'all know what I find out.

I assume one face cord should be plenty for us all for a week? I could always get more if needed.

Two adults and one teen as of now. Doug will be working in the Poconos. If Nicole gets her job it may just be me.

One rally we bought a truck load of wood and had it delivered!

There will be some dude in the area who sells wood. If it was like last year, a little will go a long way. We didn't use a rick (face cord) the whole week. But, it was just a bit humid here. LOL

I think I paid $20 for a rick.

I found a couple places down there interweb searching. I figure that will be a job for Saturday once I get there. I’ll line up a place and either go get it or have some delivered.

If any one finds someone that has fruit wood (ie apple) could you pick up a few pieces and I'll pay you back? I'll be bringing prepackaged flavor woods for the smoker but the non packaged stuff works better

As promised!!! Here is the info to order rally T-shirts.

https://www.customink.com/g/hdd0-00be-3mau

The order will go through custom ink. Place your order and pay. Shirts will come to me to be handed out at the rally. Don't depend on me to chase you down and deliver... my brain is way too short for that. Come find me or Amanda and we will get you taken care of. Deadline to place an order is JUNE 4.

If you have any questions or problems please feel free to send me on FB or here through OB.

Thanks and I hope you all like the new design!

TACO TUESDAY!!! & HIGH FIVES!!!

In the Heath and Missy tradition, we are going to have a Taco Tuesday for our main potluck on Tuesday July 10th. At last count, it seems everyone that is attending will be present, so we figured it's a good day for it and the show and shine. We still aren't sure if we will hold this at Mike's site, or the pavilion. The pavilion is gravel and not that great.

Here is a list of ideas of things to bring. The purpose of this list is to just keep us from all bringing the same thing. Go ahead and sign up for what you want to bring. I will keep the list synced between OB and the Facebook page, so no need to respond in both places.

We are estimating between 25 and 30 adults and 10 to 12 kids.

Meats (ground, shredded, smoked, grilled, fried or however you like it!)
Beef (Danielle vampire taco meat)
Chicken
Pork
Taco shells
Flour tortillas (Mel and Suzi)
Cookies (Mel and Suzi)
Tortilla chips (Elijah)
Dips
Salsa (Brian and Autumn)
Guacamole
Seven layer
Beans
Refried
Black
Mexican rice
Toppings
Shredded cheese (Brian and Autumn)
Lettuce
Tomato
Onion
Taco sauce
Sour cream
Taquitos
Fresh cut fruit
Drinks
Tableware (Chris and Crystel)
Plates
Cups
Napkins
Plastic utensils
Or anything you think sounds good!
