    I've been looking for rod and main bearings.. All I could find are KING and EngineTech and I will not settle for such cheap product.. Does anyone know where to get Clevite or Sealed Power bearings? I've looked everywhere but no luck..

    Anyone have the pre '85 precup?

    From what I know, there is a pre '85 precup with a very large throat. Comes from '83 and '84 6.9s. Does any one have any? I want to experiment and run those in my engine (1994 7.3 IDI Turbo). I could only find 7 online so if someone has 1 more that would be great.

    Did I take too much material off the skirts of the pistons when resurfacing the skirts using scotchbrite? I tried to get the scuff marks smooth so it wouldn't jam in the block. Too much or too little?

    So I recently ordered 8 new 7.3 cups and 8 new 6.9 cups (that's right, brand new) and I'm wondering, which will make the engine have more power, and which will make the engine louder? the 7.3 or 6.9 precup? these are going into 7.3 heads.

    So I'm about to bring my heads to the machine shop. And I need to get my precups installed before I do so. Does anyone have a set of all 8 precups? used or new it doesn't matter. As long as they have "88" stamped on them and they are not cracked past the fire ring. Also name your price.
