Kansas IDI get together

There's not too many active members from Kansas on here, but I wanted to see if there was enough interested people for a small get together. I'm thinking that Milford Lake would be a good place to have it. As for a time, I don't have one in mind at this time, but that's what this post is for. So what are some thoughts if you live close enough that you might want to attend?

I can say that the month of July might be the best for me. I should already have two weekends planned out.

I am about an hour from Milford, but in July I will be working on the Nebraska/Wyoming border, for the feedlot construction company I work for. We get every other Sunday off, and every 4th Saturday. Most of those weekends I am doing farm stuff, or stuff with family. Not sure just yet, but I might be staying up there indefinitely.

We are planning on heading to Missouri for the 1st week of July. We haven't taken a vacation in 15+ years. I'm not sure when I can do another weekend off, I'm planning to do a me and the Mrs only weekend sometime.

Milford does look appealing. It's only 1
1/2 hours from me.

I chose there because it's somewhat centrally located and it's always nice to camp by water.

I've kind of let this slip a little bit. It looks like we're thinking about later. Are we all thinking about August? September? September would be cooler if that matters to anyone but me.

So far I'm not at a point I can't try to plan anything yet. The beginning of the summer has already gotten busy.

I really haven't thought about it much lately. I'm getting pretty busy right now. I'm planning to be in Little River on the 15. Other than that, I haven't thought much about heading your direction.

I'd recommend that y'all come to majestic NW Florida to get together, but the population has swollen so much that we can only handle so many big personalities that Oil Burners produces. If we get squeezed out, I'll head your way.
