Valve Stem Seals
If your going to do the intakes, you might as well do the exhaust too.. mine where all hard and broken so why only do half the job... you will kick yourself for not doing them all...- racer30

New engine running but knocking
Call Justin... When I had a problem with my injector pump {not a R&D Pump} and had to send it back to Michigan for a Check up... I sent my Injectors to Justin and he cleaned and Adjusted them to 1900lbs For just a small fee.. And they weren't even his product.. He's a Good Guy and I'm sure...- racer30

7.3 Idi build
I love my J2 cam.. It pulls hard all the way up to when my MH's Allison shifts at about 3300 and I have had her up to the governor in High gear some where around 3900 or 4000 on my tack (Lease Nevel Alternator style) so I'm not sure if its completely accurate although it was reading around 100...- racer30

*FINALLY* My bulid is started
I had to reduce the inlet fuel pressure to under 5psi to stop my injector pump advance from activating to soon... I have a 90cc pump and a electric pump and it was acting strangely when I had the pressure at 7 to 8 psi. when I reduced it to 4psi it acts correctly... My pump guy told me...- racer30

Clark 5 speed to 6.9?
The SAE bell comes in 2 size's for the IDI... SAE 3 and SAE 2.... The 2 is larger diameter than the 3... Also the 3 is aluminum the 2 is cast Iron. the stock passenger side exhaust manifold Won't work with the SAE housing it hits the bell adaptor at the side trans mount. check out my...- racer30

If you want 400hp at the wheels you will need more than 140cc of Fuel and 30 psi with one of R&D's cams....or the J2 cam I have that bleeds of a bit of compression. Was told the 6.9 I just bought is toast!

Pushrod dimensions?
I have 910 springs in my 7.3 No problem....The 910's have about 15lbs more closed pressure and about 40lbs more open pressure than stock springs with a stock cam. My Engine is running a J2 Cam with a little more than .040 more lift even with that Stock push rods are fine.- racer30
