just picked up a near mint 97 6.5, 5 speed for 1500. never really messed with one of these. is there any thing i should know about or do to it before i start driving it? i dont how the glow plugs are, it starts ok, but i know with the 7.3 idi's the brand of glow plugs make a big difference. it...- 91/2 7.3idi

DT360 OR Cummins ID, IDI Value, Swap Info ??
as said do some research and shop around. i picked up my 360 for $600. its an 88 with about 140,*** miles on it and it runs great, no smoke and no blow by. i did have to drive 4 hours to get it though. there is a machine shop that sells adapter plates to put ford trannys behind the 360- 91/2 7.3idi

Clutch replacement questions.
when i did my zf swap i broke one of the bolts off in the crank too. its been this was for about 20,000 plus miles. i cant say that it has caused any problems and im not the easiest on my truck either.- 91/2 7.3idi

Slow coolant leak
i have a thread about this going on right now. i just ordered a pump and t stat from my local ford dealer ship for 95 for the pump and 30 for the t stat.- 91/2 7.3idi

water pump
ill find out this weekend if i got the right parts. i order them threw the stealer ship at home. my mother is going pick them up and bring them up this weekend. i guess ill pick up a tube of copper rtv too. looks like a pretty easy job beside draining all the coolant- 91/2 7.3idi

My transmission mount broke
are you talking about the actually aluminum casing breaking? that has happened on my zf. where the bolt on the passenger side screws into cracked and the bolt fell out.- 91/2 7.3idi
