Takes the same filter as the pickup-truck head of the same year. Good way of running primary-secondary filter setup on the cheap with factory parts - you set up the 7.3 head with the water separator and the medium-micron filter as a primary, and the 6.9 head with a small-micron filter is the secondary. Both heads are available for both applications, so mix and match as needed. This particular one the OP pictured is the 7.3 head with all the bells and whistles, to make that into the 2-stage setup one needs the filter tower for a 6.9 pickup truck and also the IP feed line from said truck. Ours is set up with a 7.3 truck head as primary and 6.9 van head as secondary, uses van IP feed line. Works well, filters are easy to change, and as soon as one of us actually remembers/bothers to make a steel crossover line with the OEM Parker fittings it will look all factory too
