Not that I'm aware of. You could try salvage yards or try to find people with and old, parked IDI truck. Are there groups I could be looking at for used pumps?

) that had a pump on it too. A 7.3 pump will work just fine on your 6.9.I’ve been trying my luck with em, unfortunately all these trucks are still on the road where I am because theres no rust, so the junkyard doesn’t have a single bullnose, bricknose or aero. Ridiculous. Haven’t found a part out within 5 hours of me that has a pump on it. Where did you see the used 7.3 pump? Not that I'm aware of. I’m on vacation in Montana right now and just picked up a 7.3l pump 4812. Will I need to adjust anything to make it work? I saw some people say to swap the injectors out and some who said it doesn’t matter. Any consesus?Sorry. They were on Ebay. I put 7.3l idi pump in the search engine and then put used into the condition.
I just installed the new pump, I’m now finally getting fuel to come out of the lines, but they don’t seem to be very high pressure. I took one line off an injector and it was not shooting out crazy hard, looked like it had about at much pressure as a spray bottle. Engine is still not starting, but didn’t get too much time to crank. Concern is that it fire with starting fluid but never with the fuel (that I can confirm) was making it to the injectors. You may have to turn down the fuel a little bit, but I'd try to get the engine running before I worry about that. Pumps and injectors wear internally at the same rate. Ideally, they should be replaced as a set. Assuming that you picked up a used pump with unknown miles, I wouldn't bother with the injectors. The miles on the injectors are unknown as well. After you get the truck running and driving, then you can make a decision on whether or not to replace the entire set. Last year, I had a bad lift pump take out an injector pump. I got by for a while with a recently rebuilt pump from an unknown rebuilder. I left the injectors in place. Now I have to replace that pump too. I'm waiting on my new pump and injectors to come in to replace them as a set.
Good call.....You’re in good hands and I’m the resident idiot around these parts. But I’ll offer a thought that may not matter.
Are you flooring or blocking the IP wide open when cranking and trying to bleed the lines?
Maybe it’s wrong, but I always floor it until I get it to fire and then modulate to keep it running.
Flame away. OAO
You joke, but you're supposed to tap the throttle to set the fast idle when coldGood call.....
On these old carbureted diesels, you have to set the choke by pressing the acceleration to the floor once........ lolol I'm kidding I'm kidding!!!!
But yeah, it's a simple but possibly an overlooked thing, FLOOR IT TILL IT FIRES!!!

I always do.FLOOR IT TILL IT FIRES!!!
We call that the "electric choke" on our carbureted diesels...You joke, but you're supposed to tap the throttle to set the fast idle when cold![]()
